Blog - Business Attendance

I had taken on role of chauffeur for my guest’s business trip. He was a repeat client from New York City. Last November, after his last business trip, his secretary reached out to us again and re-booked for his second trip. This time was with his company’s CEO as well.

I picked up my guests at the Narita airport arrival gate. They all seemed very busy, checking documents and engaging in discussion as soon as they entered the car. When we arrived to their hotel, I reconfirmed the pick-up time for the next morning and finished for the first day.

On the second day, we started at their hotel and headed out to their first meeting appointment.

My guests had a couple of meetings with different companies. Since there was some time to spare before the next meeting, I suggested having a light lunch or a snack. They agreed that it was the best decision and we moved forth with the plan. We went back to their hotel for the lunch break, which was on the way to their next meeting place. After the lunch, we headed to my guests’ last appointment of the day. While my guests were gone for the meeting, I helped fold the jackets they left in the car. When my guests saw their organized car seats after the meeting, they looked amazed and said, “Wow! Beautiful!”

After their last meeting, I gave one of my guests a ride to Haneda Airport. He said, “We were talking earlier that you are the best driver out of all the business trip experiences we had had. It’s perfect because you’re easy to work with and there is no language barrier! We’ll be back in the summer and we’ll be sure to ask for you again!” I was very happy to hear that. Eventually we arrived to the airport. My guest got out of the car and said, “Thank you! I’ll see you next time!” I answered, “Please say hello to your secretary” and thanked him again with a handshake and a smile.
